"Pretty easy to use, just one login hiccup"
The app was simple to get around, and my account page had most of the stuff right where I figured it would be. Updating my payment info and checking my details was quick and didn’t really give me any trouble.
Umm, the only annoying part was that it logged me out once, and the password reset email took a little while to come through. Not a big deal, but still kind of frustrating. Overall, it was a good experience and I’d give it 4 stars.

"I got uneasy during sign-up"
I started signing up, but I still remember that little stomach-drop feeling when it began asking for more personal info than I expected. Maybe that’s totally normal for this kind of service, but I couldn’t really tell where all the data was going or how it would be used. It made me pause and lose some trust, so I ended up backing out before finishing.

Clear did help the lines move along, but the airport still felt crowded in spots. I was hoping it would make things feel easier overall, but I still had to deal with a lot of waiting and weaving through people, which was kind of annoying.

I signed up on CLEAR and have used CLEAR a handful of times now. I’ll admit, I wasn’t totally convinced it would be worth it, but it has saved me from sitting in the regular security line forever. On my last trip, I probably saved around 20–30 minutes, which was a big deal because I was running late. Getting set up was painless too. It’s not amazing at every airport, so I’m still a little on the fence, but on busy travel days it’s been useful for me

"Decent service, but the renewal surprised me"
The service itself was fine, but my experience got frustrating when the auto renewal kicked in without me really noticing. From my point of view, billing wasn’t super clear, and when I tried to cancel, it took more effort than it should have. If I had gotten a clear reminder before being charged, I probably wouldn’t have been as annoyed. Overall, it worked okay, but the renewal process could definitely be more upfront

"TSA PreCheck setup was more confusing than it should’ve been"
I mainly signed up for the TSA PreCheck part, but the Clearme side of things was a little confusing. The weird part is, some of my info didn’t seem to sync right away, so I wasn’t totally sure if everything had gone through or not. Support took longer than I hoped to respond, which made it more frustrating. It did end up working eventually, but the whole setup was way more annoying than I expected.

"Scanner works "most" of the time"
The face scan is usually quick and easy, but every once in a while it needs a second try. Not a big deal, just a little "hit or miss" sometimes.

"Really useful at big airports, kind of depends where you fly"
I’ve used CLEAR a handful of times now, and when I’m at a bigger airport, it’s nice to have. The lanes are usually easy to spot, and I’ve definitely saved some time getting through security, especially when the regular lines look long.
The only reason I’d stick with 4 stars is that it’s not available everywhere I travel. Some of the smaller airports I use don’t seem to have it, and I’m guessing they probably focus more on the busy airports first because that’s where it makes the most sense. So for me, it’s great when it’s there, but a little hit or miss depending on the trip...

"i used CLEAR before my trip..."
i used CLEAR before my trip, and the airport staff were really professional. the person helping me stayed calm, explained everything clearly, and didn’t make me feel rushed even though it was busy. i had a small issue with my info, but they fixed it quickly and without any attitude. it was just nice dealing with people who seemed to really know what they were doing. overall, really good experience.

I was kind of expecting canceling to be a hassle, because it usually is with stuff like this, but it actually went smoothly. I canceled, waited a bit, and the refund came back without any drama. So yeah, no complaints there...

"Works fine, but feels a bit pricey"
CLEAR has definitely helped me get through the airport faster a few times, so I can’t say it doesn’t work. The process is usually smooth, but sometimes the whole thing feels a little impersonal, like you’re just another ticket number being moved through the line. My main issue is the cost. If I flew more often, I’d probably feel better about it, but for the price I expected to use it a lot more. There have also been times when regular PreCheck was just as quick. It’s not a bad service at all, I’m just not totally convinced the value is there for me.
